The assembly confirmed this plan on Thursday in Geneva, as the Swiss president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, told Keystone-SDA on Friday. The focus is on maintaining activities as far as possible.
It is impossible to predict the number of redundancies, as the situation is very volatile. A third of the volume could be absorbed by voluntary departures and the elimination of positions that have not yet been filled.
