Martial Pugin, head of the communication and prevention department of the Fribourg cantonal police, told the Keystone-SDA news agency early on Wednesday morning that he could not estimate with absolute certainty exactly how long the identification would take.
Four passengers and a paramedic were also injured in the fire. Their identities were known on Tuesday evening. Pugin was unable to provide more detailed information, such as the gender and age of the people, on Wednesday morning.
The Fribourg authorities will provide information on the current situation at a press conference on Wednesday at 2 pm.
