Fire, fire Industrial building in Stalden VS largely destroyed in fire

A fire broke out in an industrial building in Stalden VS on Sunday evening. Large parts of the building were completely destroyed. No one was injured.

The fire broke out on Sunday evening at around 9 pm. The emergency services were able to bring the fire under control after an hour, as reported by the Valais cantonal police on Monday. The fire department set up a fire watch during the night.

The fire caused extensive material damage. One person was evacuated for safety reasons.

During the firefighting operation, there were restrictions on road and rail traffic.

The public prosecutor's office of the canton of Valais has launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the fire.
