At least 17 people have been injured in a Russian missile attack in the south-eastern Ukrainian industrial city of Kryvyi Rih. Eight of them had to be taken to hospital, as the head of the military administration, Olexander Vilkul, announced on Telegram. The Russian army had fired two ballistic missiles at the city. A good two dozen buildings, including residential buildings, were damaged.

During the night, both sides again massively deployed drones against targets in their respective neighboring countries. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 110 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over several Russian areas, including one in the Moscow region. According to the authorities, four people were injured in the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to media reports, the target in the region was an explosives factory in the city of Dzerzhinsk.
Drones shot down over Kiev
For its part, the Ukrainian air force reported that a good 50 Russian drones had been deployed. Of these, 31 were destroyed in time, some of them over areas in western Ukraine. According to the authorities, a good dozen Russian drones were shot down on the outskirts and over the Ukrainian capital Kiev. Anti-aircraft fire was heard several times in Kiev during the night.
Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion for over two and a half years.
