After attack: petrochemical factory in Emirates on fire

The operation of the facility was stopped immediately and the damage is being assessed. No injuries were reported, it said.

Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates had reported intercepting Iranian missiles and drones. Of the Gulf states in which US troops are stationed, the UAE is the most affected by attacks with which Iran responds to attacks by the USA and Israel.

Bahrain reports Iranian drone attacks

In the Gulf emirate of Bahrain, the state-owned oil and gas company Bapco Energies reported a fire in a warehouse as a result of an Iranian drone attack in the morning. The fire had been completely extinguished and the damage was now being assessed. There were no injuries.

The Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) in Bahrain also confirmed that several of its facilities were the target of an Iranian drone attack early on Sunday morning (local time), as reported by the state agency BNA. The attack caused fires in the affected facilities, which have since been completely extinguished. No casualties were reported here either.

Iran had reported on Saturday that petrochemical companies in the country had been attacked. The Israeli Air Force later announced that it had bombed an industrial complex producing chemicals for weapons production.
