Israel Army: Bodies of six hostages recovered in Gaza Strip
According to Israel's army, it has recovered the bodies of six hostages in the Gaza Strip. Their dead bodies were found on Tuesday night in the city of Chan Junis in the south of the coastal region, the military announced. The families of the six men have been informed.

According to media reports, five of the men are between 35 and 80 years old. Several had already been declared dead by the army. They were all alive when they were abducted.
According to an Israeli count, Hamas now holds 109 hostages, many of whom are probably no longer alive.

Some of them were released through a prisoner exchange, while a few hostages were freed by the Israeli army - even at great cost to the Palestinian civilian population during these military operations, for which Israel is internationally criticized.
