According to the Register of the Swiss Abroad, more than 60 people are still in Syria.

Around 60 people from Switzerland are still registered in Syria, according to the Swiss Abroad Register of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. A further person is registered as a "transient", according to a request from the Keystone-SDA news agency.

No requests for consular assistance had been made by Sunday afternoon. The FDFA helpline for Syria had also not received any calls, the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) added on request.
There is no organized departure. According to the FDFA, the principles of personal responsibility under the Swiss Abroad Act apply.
The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs is represented in Syria by a humanitarian office of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). This is "still operational". All FDFA employees in Syria are safe and well.
