On his arrival in Scotland, US President Donald Trump issued an urgent warning to Europe about two key dangers. In his opinion, wind turbines and immigration are threatening to destroy the continent.

"You fly over and you see these wind turbines everywhere, ruining your beautiful fields and valleys and killing your birds," he said at Glasgow Prestwick Airport. Wind turbines were also damaging the sea, he continued.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's Labour Party has pledged to rely heavily on renewable energy - particularly offshore wind production.

Trump also insisted that Europe must stop the "terrible invasion" by immigrants. Immigration was destroying Europe, just as wind turbines were destroying the beauty of European countries, he continued.

Among other things, Trump wants to visit two golf resorts in Scotland that belong to his real estate company. A meeting with EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is also planned for Sunday. According to British sources, he plans to meet Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday.
