Resignation Ausserrhoden National Councillor David Zuberbühler (SVP) resigns

Appenzell Ausserrhoden SVP National Councillor David Zuberbühler has tendered his resignation from the National Council. He will step down at the end of the winter session on December 19.

Zuberbühler justified his "painful" decision with a new professional commitment as Managing Director and Sales Manager of Hälg Markenschuhe AG. Zuberbühler published his letter of resignation to the President of the National Council on the Instagram platform on Tuesday.

The politician from Herisau has been the only member of the National Council from the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden since 2015.
