Three people have been killed in a Russian drone attack on the town of Pavlohrad in south-eastern Ukraine. According to the military governor of the region, Serhij Lysak, a further 14 people were injured.

A 15-year-old girl is among the dead and three children are among the injured.

While Moscow has repeatedly emphasized its willingness to find a peace solution, the Russian army continues to attack Ukraine on a massive scale. Just the day before, 12 people were killed and 90 injured in a heavy attack on the capital Kiev. Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion for more than three years with Western help.
