The terrorists then took his body to the Gaza Strip. According to the information, Rudaeff was from Argentina and came to Israel as a seven-year-old child. He made a home for himself in the kibbutz Nir Izchak. He had been a volunteer rescue driver in the region for 40 years, the Hostage Forum announced. He is survived by his wife, four children and three grandchildren.
With the return of his body, five dead hostages remain in the Gaza Strip. In accordance with the ceasefire agreement of October, Hamas must return all mortal remains of the 28 hostages originally killed to Israel. In turn, Israel has undertaken to hand over the mortal remains of 15 killed Gaza Strip residents to the local authorities for each body handed over.
