"Symbols of the government are being bombed and collapsing - from the broadcasting station to other targets soon," wrote Israel Katz on the X platform. A tornado is passing over Tehran. "This is how dictatorships collapse."
A few days ago, Israel's army attacked the Iranian state broadcaster IRIB during a live broadcast. According to the broadcaster, there were deaths and injuries. Israel's army announced that the airstrike was aimed at a "communications center of the Iranian regime". A video of the broadcast during the attack was widely shared on social media.
Since the attacks began on Friday, Israel has attacked important Iranian nuclear facilities and also dealt heavy blows to the military leadership, which is part of the country's power apparatus, and state structures. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu now does not seem to rule out the possibility of a targeted killing of Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
