At least 29 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense. Spokesman Mahmud Bassal told the German press agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur that 14 people were killed in an attack on a police station in the Sheikh Radwan district in the north of the city of Gaza. A further seven people were killed, including in the south of the Gaza Strip, when a tent of internally displaced persons was shot at.

The Israeli army announced that it had attacked commanders and infrastructure of the terrorist organizations Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip. Targets included a weapons depot, a weapons workshop and two Hamas launching pads.
