A woman was slightly injured when at least one rocket from Lebanon hit Israel's third-largest city, Haifa. She suffered a splinter wound to her hand, according to the Magen David Adom rescue service on Platform X.

The Israeli army announced that a total of 105 rockets had been registered, which were aimed at targets in the Galilee and especially in Haifa. Most of the missiles were intercepted, but some also hit suburbs.

The newspaper "Times of Israel" spoke of the largest rocket attack on the city of Haifa since the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah began firing on northern Israel a year ago. Videos published by the newspaper showed damage to houses and cars in the northern suburb of Kiriat Jam.

Almost at the same time, the deputy head of Hezbollah, Naim Kassim, stressed on television that the Islamist organization was still ready to fight. Israel had recently inflicted heavy blows on Hezbollah, including the killing of senior members.
