Germany EU wants to make it easier to hand over asylum seekers to third countries

The EU is laying the foundations for a significantly stricter deportation policy.

In future, Germany and other EU member states will be allowed to transfer asylum seekers to countries with which they have no connection, according to an agreement reached by representatives of the member states and the European Parliament.
