According to Russian reports, several people have been killed in a Ukrainian drone attack on a tanker in the port of the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don. According to preliminary information, there were fatalities among the ship's crew, the governor of the Rostov-on-Don region, Yuri Slyussar, announced on Telegram last night. The ship had been damaged. In addition, an apartment building under construction in the west of the city was destroyed. The mayor of the city, Alexander Scriabin, also spoke of victims on his Telegram channel.

At the same time, Russia's military also fired on the neighboring country. The governor of the region, Ivan Fedorov, announced on Telegram that at least 32 people had been injured in a Russian attack during the night in the southeast Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia.
It had previously been reported that five children were among the injured. Russia had attacked with aerial bombs, hitting high-rise buildings, a school and a company, the Ukrinform news agency reported. The statements from both sides could not initially be independently confirmed.
Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion for almost four years. As part of the fighting, both warring parties have been attacking each other with drone strikes. However, the extent of the damage and the number of victims are far greater in Ukraine.
