Politics Hamas authority: 326 dead after Israeli attacks in Gaza
According to the Islamist-controlled health authority, the death toll has risen further following the night-time Israeli air strikes against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

At least 326 people were killed, the authority announced. Hundreds were also injured. The figures do not distinguish between civilians and combatants and cannot be independently verified at present. According to the authorities, numerous victims are still buried under rubble.
Footage circulated on social media is said to show distraught relatives and the bodies of Palestinians killed after the attacks, including children. The authenticity of the videos and images could not initially be verified.
These are Israel's heaviest airstrikes since the ceasefire came into force around two months ago.
