The Islamist terrorist organization Hamas has once again handed over mortal remains to employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The Israeli army announced that, according to ICRC information, three coffins had been handed over in the Gaza Strip. These are now on their way to be handed over to Israeli troops. According to the military arm of Hamas, these are said to be the bodies of three hostages.

However, the terrorist organization had repeatedly handed over mortal remains that were ultimately not hostages. The remains are to be identified in a forensic institute.

Before the handover, the remains of eleven hostages were still in the Gaza Strip. The Islamist organization had already released all hostages still alive on 13 October in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
