The three Israeli hostages released on Sunday are in stable condition, according to the hospital to which they were initially taken. The deputy medical director of the Shiba Hospital near Tel Aviv did not provide further details on Monday after the initial examinations. "It will take a few more days for all the necessary examinations to be completed," Sefi Mendelovich told the Times of Israel.

Terrorists abducted the three young women during the Hamas massacre in Israel on October 7, 2023 and have held them in the Gaza Strip ever since. In the hospital, they can now be together with relatives again in a protected environment. The families and the Forum of Hostage Families had asked for the families' privacy to be respected.

Former hostage on Instagram: "Happiest person in the world"

Meanwhile, released hostage Emily Damari, who has both Israeli and British citizenship, expressed her joy at her release after 471 days in captivity on her Instagram account. "I'm back in my life, with my loved ones. I am the happiest person in the world," the 28-year-old wrote there, according to Israeli media reports.
