Israel's army announced that an interceptor missile had been fired at the missile from Yemen. The result is currently being investigated. According to the Israeli rescue service Magen David Adom, a woman was injured on the way to a shelter.

The Houthis had already fired a missile towards Israel in the early morning. According to the Israeli army, it was intercepted before it reached Israeli territory. The Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack. According to Israeli media, remnants of the missile damaged the roof of a kindergarten. No one was injured.

Since Israel's army resumed its attacks in the Gaza Strip on March 18, the Houthi militia has also been regularly firing missiles towards Israel in solidarity with Hamas. According to Israeli media, it has since attacked with around 25 rockets and several drones. These are intercepted in the vast majority of cases.

The Houthis control large areas, particularly in northern Yemen. A civil war has been raging in the very poor country for ten years. The USA is currently repeatedly attacking militia positions.
