Armed members of the Houthi militia have stormed the headquarters of the UN refugee agency UNHCR in Yemen. They searched the premises in the capital Sanaa for hours, detained several local employees for several hours and took away electronic equipment, according to information obtained by Deutsche Presse-Agentur. The employees were finally released.

The United Nations has been facing attacks by the Huthi for months. Staff members have also been abducted. According to UN information, the militia still has 53 employees in its custody. Yemen is considered one of the most dangerous countries in the world due to civil war.
