Personnel costs are to be reduced by five percent within a year. According to "Berner Zeitung" and "Bund", this will lead to a reduction of 200 to 300 jobs. Radio SRF also reported on the plans. The Insel Group wrote on request that the exact number of jobs to be cut has not yet been determined.

It assumes that the target can largely be achieved through natural fluctuation. It will not be possible to estimate whether there will be additional redundancies until the end of August at the earliest.

The Insel Group is struggling with major financial problems. Over the last two years, it has posted a loss of around 200 million francs.
