Iran's armed forces have rehearsed their air defense with a second large-scale maneuver within a short period of time.

In the south-west of the country, the army practiced detecting, tracking and destroying targets, as reported by the Tasnim news agency. Domestic radar systems were also used in the exercise.

Due to the military tensions with arch-enemy Israel in recent months, there are growing fears of war in Iran. Israel's government has repeatedly threatened to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities. This is due to fears that the Islamic Republic could be seeking nuclear weapons.
