Iran's military leadership has categorically ruled out compromise and surrender in the war against Israel and the USA.

"The powerful Iranian armed forces will steadfastly defend the country's sovereignty and continue on this path until the final victory," said the commander of the central military leadership, Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, according to state radio.

Aliabadi is the de facto chief of staff. He heads the Chatam al-Anbija headquarters, which bundles the operational command of the Iranian armed forces in the event of war.
