Following the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Israel's military has reportedly killed a high-ranking intelligence cadre of the Lebanese Shiite militia. Hassan Khalil Yassin, the head of an intelligence unit involved in planning rocket attacks on Israel, was "eliminated" in a targeted air strike in a southern suburb of Beirut, the army announced.

Yassin is said to have been personally involved in the planning and preparation of attacks on Israeli civilians and soldiers. The Israeli military had killed Hezbollah leader Nasrallah in a targeted attack in the same Beirut suburb on Friday.
