Politics Israel: Netanyahu and Trump to meet at the end of the month
According to Israeli sources, US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet at the end of the month to discuss the next steps in the plan promoted by the US to end the Gaza war.

The meeting is planned for December 29, an Israeli government spokeswoman announced. Israeli media reported that Netanyahu would travel to the USA for a visit between December 28 and January 4. The spokesperson initially refused to confirm this information when asked.
Netanyahu's office announced around a week ago that Trump had invited the Israeli head of government to the White House "in the near future".
As soon as Hamas hands over the last dead Israeli hostage and Israel hands over the bodies of 15 Palestinians in return, the next phase of the peace plan can begin.
