Ahead of the second round of nuclear negotiations between the USA and Iran, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has once again stated his country's red line. "When I became defense minister, I promised to pursue two central goals: preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and winning the war," he wrote on the news platform X. "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I are determined, together with all parties, to take a clear line that will prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. We will not allow threats of annihilation against the State of Israel."

This Saturday, the delegations from the USA and Iran will once again negotiate a new nuclear agreement. US President Donald Trump wants to prevent an Iranian nuclear weapons program, while the government in Tehran does not want to completely abandon nuclear technology and is calling for the lifting of US sanctions. "Iran must not have a nuclear weapon," Trump told reporters at the White House. "If Iran had a nuclear weapon, you would all be very unhappy because your lives would be in great danger."
