Israel's Foreign Minister: Do not want an endless war

"We are not seeking an endless war," Saar said after a meeting with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul in Jerusalem. Israel had achieved enormous successes since the start of the war, about which he had informed his counterpart, Saar said.

In due course, the country wanted to coordinate with its US partners "when we think the right time has come", explained Israel's chief diplomat when asked when Israel would see its war aims achieved. However, Saar did not want to give an exact timetable for further action.
