Ukrainian drones have hit an electronics factory in the Russian republic of Chuvashia. The General Staff in Kiev confirmed the attack on the factory. According to them, the company was targeted because antennas for Russian weapons were being manufactured there. Telegram channels had also previously stated that the company produced satellite receivers for the Russian army. The information provided by the warring parties cannot be independently verified.

The governor of the region, Oleg Nikolayev, which is around 650 kilometers from Moscow, wrote on Telegram that two drones had crashed on the site of the WNIIR factory in the city of Cheboksary. Two more drones crashed into fields. According to initial information, there were no injuries.

The Ministry of Defense in Moscow announced that it had intercepted 49 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory during the night - two of them over the Chuvash region. According to the Rosaviatsiya aviation authority, no take-offs and landings were permitted at Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov and Tambov airports for safety reasons. There are regular restrictions at airports in Russia in connection with Ukrainian drone attacks.
General Staff: Aircraft also hit
The General Staff in Kiev also announced that it had attacked a military airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to preliminary information, two fighter jets were hit, according to the statement from the General Staff.
