Ukrainian military forces have claimed damage to three Russian oil drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea. The platforms belonging to the Russian oil giant Lukoil were used to supply the Russian armed forces in Ukraine, the Ukrainian General Staff in Kiev announced on Telegram. The General Staff did not provide any details on the nature of the attack, but spoke of "direct hits", meaning that the use of long-range drones seemed possible. The Ukrainian special forces published a video showing the attack from the perspective of attacking drones.

The report on the attack and the video could not be independently verified. The Russian military does not provide any information on possible damage caused by Ukrainian attacks.

Ukraine repeatedly attacks oil and gas industry facilities in Russia in order to make it more difficult to supply the Russian occupation forces.
