The Graubünden municipality of Küblis cut off its entire water supply on Wednesday as a precautionary measure. The reason is contamination in parts of the drinking water supply, which was discovered in the morning.

"The entire water supply was interrupted as a precautionary measure to clarify the exact spread and cause," said the municipality of Küblis, which has a population of 900. Water samples are being analyzed. The municipality did not provide any further information on the contamination.
According to the municipality, the drinking water supply will remain completely interrupted until at least Thursday morning. An emergency supply will be installed. Drinking water distribution points are to be set up at four locations by Wednesday evening.
