The right-wing nationalist French politician Marine Le Pen has also been sentenced to two years in prison with an ankle bracelet in the affair concerning the bogus employment of staff in the European Parliament. The criminal court in Paris suspended a further two years' imprisonment. A fine of 100,000 euros was also imposed.
