Landslide Liechtenstein donates 100,000 francs to the buried Blatten

The Principality of Liechtenstein is supporting the buried Blatten VS with a donation of 100,000 Swiss francs. According to the national government, the amount is to be used as a sign of solidarity "where support is most urgently needed".

"This solidarity contribution underlines the friendly and historically grown relations between Liechtenstein and Switzerland," the Liechtenstein government announced on Wednesday. In view of the close cooperation in the area of civil protection, Liechtenstein is keen to make a concrete contribution to overcoming the difficult situation on the ground.
