In the midst of difficult negotiations on an end to the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron received Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi in Paris on Monday. The Élysée Palace announced that the two heads of state wanted to discuss the conditions for a lasting and just peace and the American plan to achieve this. They also discussed the military guarantees with which the countries supporting Ukraine, united in the so-called Coalition of the Willing, want to secure a peace solution.
