  • The man was caught by the current and washed behind the waterfall, where he had to stay for two days.
  • The rescue team used a helicopter and had to work in difficult conditions in the narrow canyon.
  • The situation arose because the man continued his tour alone after his companions had turned back due to the strong force of the water.

The man was on his way to the Seven Teacups waterfalls with friends at the beginning of August. While his companions turned back due to the strong current, he continued the tour alone. He was swept into a cave behind a waterfall by the current.

When he did not return as agreed, his friends reported him missing. The rescue teams began the search on foot, with drones and finally by helicopter. Due to the narrow gorge, the rescue had to be carried out with precision, as any contact with the water could have damaged the safety rope.

After two days, the man was rescued alive. He received medical treatment for exhaustion and dehydration.
