Iran Minister Katz: Khamenei cannot continue to exist
Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz is taking direct aim at Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. "A dictator like Khamenei, who is at the head of a state like Iran, and who has taken up the cause of destroying the state of Israel, this terrible goal of destroying Israel, cannot continue to exist," he said in the city of Cholon.

Khamenei is the "modern Hitler", said Katz. If the Israeli army had existed back then, Hitler would have been killed in his bunker during the Second World War. Katz added that Khamenei has great ideological influence.
In the most recent Iranian missile attacks, a hospital in the desert town of Beersheva in southern Israel was among those hit. Israeli Health Minister Uriel Buso spoke of a "war crime".
