Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko had stated that a Ch-101 cruise missile had hit the nine-storey high-rise building directly. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Selensky condemned the attacks on the capital as Russian terror.

Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin is also expected to comment on his war against Ukraine, which has been going on for more than three years, at the international economic forum in St. Petersburg, which begins on Wednesday. A meeting is planned on the first day with representatives of major news agencies, who will ask questions about Russian politics and the economy.
