This was announced by Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko on Telegram. According to Kiev's military administration, the second victim, a man born in 2004, was seriously injured. The drone strikes damaged residential buildings and kiosks.
There were also strikes in the area surrounding the capital. According to preliminary information, one person was injured here. Damage was also reported to several residential buildings, garages and a car.
There was property damage in the Cherkasy and Zaporizhzhya regions. In Zaporizhia, for example, a fire broke out in an industrial building, wrote military governor Ivan Fedorov, without giving further details.
Attacks less intense than last week
According to Ukrainian reports, Russia fired a total of around 140 drones and their imitations during the night. According to the Ukrainian air force, 125 were intercepted. The scale of the attack is therefore significantly smaller than last week, when Russia deployed almost 500 drones in one night.
