According to the information, Russian aircraft had dropped three so-called glide bombs in the afternoon, which hit a neighborhood with single-family homes. In such attacks, the Russian jets remain in their own airspace and the bombs glide over dozens of kilometers to the target. Kharkiv is just over 30 kilometers from the Russian border.
According to Synyehubov, the Russian army had already fired four missiles at an infrastructure object in Kharkiv during the night. Russia has been waging war on neighboring Ukraine for almost four years.
