At least 45 people have been killed since last night, according to the Hamas-controlled civil defense in the Gaza Strip. Dozens of people have also been injured in Israeli attacks. The information could not initially be independently verified.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa previously reported Israeli attacks in Jabaliya and Deir al-Balah as well as near Chan Junis in the south of the territory. More than 20 people were killed in these areas, Wafa reported in the morning, citing medical circles in the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that it was continuing its "operations against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip". More than 115 targets had been attacked in the course of the past day. According to the army, the targets included launching pads, military facilities, tunnels, terrorist cells, terrorists and terrorist infrastructure facilities.
