"I confirm that arms deliveries via Jasionka have returned to their previous level," Sikorski told journalists in Warsaw. He was standing next to his Ukrainian counterpart Andrij Sybiha, who had traveled to Poland directly from the US-Ukrainian talks in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah.
The Rzeszow-Jasionka airport in south-eastern Poland and the railroad line leading from there to nearby Ukraine are considered the most important transportation route for European and American military goods for Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also usually travels abroad from this airport. Western politicians also use this transportation hub to travel in the opposite direction for their visits to Ukraine.
