In the Czech Republic, the ANO of former head of government and billionaire Andrej Babis has won the parliamentary elections. According to the partial results, the right-wing populist opposition party received just under 36 percent of the vote after 90 percent of the constituencies had been counted, as revealed in the afternoon by official data from the statistics authority CSU.
