Politics Pro-European Nicusor Dan wins presidential election in Romania

The pro-European politician Nicusor Dan has become the new president of Romania. After more than 98 percent of the polling stations had been counted, he had an unassailable lead over right-wing populist George Simion, according to the election authority in Bucharest.
