Radical Israeli settlers have attacked a Palestinian village near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to media reports.

Residents of the village of Umm Safa reported that a car repair shop and several vehicles had been set on fire. An Israeli army spokesman said that the report was being investigated.

In the past, radical settlers have repeatedly attacked Palestinians and their property. The army is repeatedly accused of not doing enough to combat such attacks. US President Donald Trump lifted his country's sanctions against radical settlers after taking office in January.
