As the Mass-Voll demonstration crossed the Seebrücke in the direction of Kurplatz, part of the left-wing rally moved from Europaplatz to the bus stops at the train station. A large banner read "Antifa remains manual labor".

They chanted anti-fascist slogans from a good 50 meters away. Police in full riot gear stood between them. The mass demonstration continued the march back to the Kurplatz. Part of the counter-demo regrouped on Europaplatz and headed back towards Seebrücke. The police blocked this and the Chapel Bridge. The demonstrators withdrew.

Of the thousand or so people who took part in the Mass-voll rally, several hundred listened to the speeches on Kurplatz against the Bilaterale III EU treaty package, including members of a radical right-wing party from Bulgaria and the far-right organization Junge Tat.

The rally began to disperse at around 5 pm. Some of the 1,500 counter-demonstrators initially remained on Europaplatz.
