More than 100,000 rescue workers were deployed across the country, according to a statement from the humanitarian organization in Iran. More than 130 districts have been affected by the war.

Israel and the USA have been attacking hundreds of targets in Iran since Saturday. These include military infrastructure such as missile launching pads, facilities of the controversial nuclear program, headquarters of the military leadership and representatives of the political leadership. The capital Tehran was again heavily bombed on Sunday. Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed on Saturday. Israel and the USA justify the war with the threat posed by Iran's missile and nuclear program.

Analysis: More than 2,000 targets attacked in Iran

According to an analysis by the Critical Threats Project (CTP), which is run by the Washington-based think tanks Institute for the Study of War (ISW) and American Enterprise Institute, more than 2,000 targets were attacked in the airstrikes.

Iran's armed forces have attacked targets in several countries in the region in response to the war. In the morning, the Revolutionary Guards Air Force fired missiles at Israel. It was the tenth wave of missiles since the start of the war, according to a statement from the powerful Revolutionary Guards. Advanced rockets of the Chorramshahr 4 type had opened "huge gates of fire" over Israel.
