According to a Palestinian report, Israel's army has once again shelled a building in the Gaza Strip that was previously used as a school. The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that seven people were killed and several injured. The building in the city of Gaza is said to have housed displaced persons.

The information could not initially be independently verified. When asked, Israel's military said it was investigating the report.

Israel's army has repeatedly attacked former school buildings during the Gaza war. It accuses Hamas of misusing them for its own purposes, such as setting up command centers there.

Wafa reported further deaths in various attacks in the embattled area.

Following a Hamas rocket attack from the Gaza Strip on southern Israel on Friday night, the Israeli military reported that the air force had attacked weapons depots and people involved near the rocket launch site in the Gaza Strip.

A warehouse for international aid supplies was reportedly located 50 meters away. The civilian population in the area had been warned of the attacks.

None of the information could initially be independently verified.
