The several hours of questioning of former US President Bill Clinton on the Epstein case before a committee of the US House of Representatives has come to an end. The Republican chairman of the oversight committee, James Comer, described the questioning afterwards as "very productive". Clinton had tried to answer every question.

The non-public hearing took place in Chappaqua in the US state of New York, where the Clintons live. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had already been questioned the day before.
At the beginning of his questioning before the House of Representatives' oversight committee, Clinton denied any knowledge of crimes committed by sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In a statement circulated on social media, Clinton wrote that he had "seen nothing and done nothing wrong". His acquaintance with Epstein, who died in prison in 2019, was only brief and ended years before his crimes came to light.
Clinton's name and pictures of him appear in documents relating to the Epstein investigation. But that alone is not proof of wrongdoing.
