Similarly, 46 drones were intercepted in the Bryansk region, 8 in the Belgorod region and 7 in the Krasnodar region. Such information cannot be independently verified, but it allows conclusions to be drawn about the scope of an attack.
Fire on the Crimean peninsula
According to local authorities, a fuel depot caught fire on the Crimean peninsula annexed by Russia, as reported by the Tass news agency. Telegram channels also named a plastics factory in Budyonnovsk in southern Russia as a target.
According to Russia, it had already repelled a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack on Tuesday. In the evening, a fuel depot in the Russian region of Ulyanovsk on the Volga was attacked by Ukrainian drones, according to media reports. Reservoirs belonging to the NS-Oil company were hit, reported the Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova.
Russia has been waging a devastating war against Ukraine for more than three and a half years. With its far-reaching drone attacks, Ukraine is trying to take the war back to the country of the attacker. They often hit fuel depots and oil refineries.
