According to Ukraine, 40 Russian drones were shot down during the night. A total of 62 unmanned flying objects of various types were used by the Russian military, the Ukrainian air force announced on Telegram. In the process, 19 combat drones struck at seven different locations. The Ukrainian military did not provide further details.

According to the Ukrainian Civil Defense, several residential buildings were damaged in drone attacks in the city of Shakhtarske in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Ten people were injured, the governor Vladyslav Hajwanenko announced on Telegram.
Ukrainian drone attacks in Russia
On the other side, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 45 Ukrainian drones had been shot down. According to the announcement, the majority were intercepted over the Samara and Saratov regions on the Volga. However, the ministry did not provide any information on the number of strikes or possible damage and casualties.
According to Governor Yevgeny Solntsev, there were drone attacks on a gas factory in the Orenburg region in the Urals, over 900 kilometers from Ukraine. A drone strike led to a fire in a factory building. The fire-fighting work is continuing. There have been no casualties among the workforce.
Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion for over three and a half years. Both sides are making intensive use of combat drones in the war, even far behind the front line.
