According to Ukraine, 40 Russian drones were shot down during the night. According to Governor Yevgeny Solntsev, there were drone attacks on a gas factory in the Orenburg region in the Urals, over 900 kilometers from Ukraine. A drone strike led to a fire in a factory building. The fire-fighting work is continuing. There have been no casualties among the workforce.
Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion for over three and a half years. Both sides are making intensive use of combat drones in the war, even far behind the front line.
